Polly Pritchard-Davies

Creative Director and Tutor

Polly has over 25 years of experience teaching youth theatre and producing youth shows.

She studied Community Dance at Plymouth University, and straight after graduating she was recommended to various roles and her career as a performing arts teacher was launched. This has included:

  • teaching for Stagecoach Performing Arts in Torquay and Exeter for 17 years; and

  • setting up the Torbay Acting Factory, a successful youth theatre in Paignton's Palace Theatre.

  • Polly’s most recent endeavour, Project Performers, which she launched 10 years ago now has a home at The Spark Studio.

With her background Polly is able to teach song, dance and drama to a high level. Polly is passionate about performing arts and sharing this with others. She has written many original childrens’ shows, but some of the most recognised shows that she loved directing have been High School Musical, Aladdin, Midsummer Nights Dream, Bugsy Malone, Into the Woods, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Annie, and most recently Moana Jr. She has seen many of her past students go on to be professional actors and singers, creative and inspiring teachers, entertainers and some are also teaching theatre themselves too.

Away from teaching Polly enjoys singing herself and used to be a singer in a touring Pink Floyd show, (where she met her husband) who performed in the Indigo O2 London, Shepherd's Bush Empire, the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow and many others great venues.
